Wasn't that to do with the tunnels?  I might be completley wrong but i'm sure i saw on here that some garages had buses on standby in Brum to fill in any big gaps in service. I'm sure a WN Trident made it onto the 51?

The WB depot thread says that a WB running board has a short peak working on 6E Walsall to Aldridge at 0800.

WB also provide a peak running board on 140 / 241.

What other depots run journeys on routes operated by other depots and to what times do these operate?

BY operate the 70E school service (Park Hall School - Ward End). This departs at 1509 ex Park Hall School.

BC also operate a couple of early morning 9 journeys. I believe these are the 0714 & 0724 ex Halesowen and 0847 & 0856 ex Quinton.

I believe the 838 school service is operated jointly by PB & BY - but stand to be corrected!

I don't know if it's still the case any more, but YW sometimes operated one of the 5A morning journeys.

They used to operate one round trip Monkspath - City, City - Solihull but this reverted to AG at 2-3 years ago.

Was this on a Sunday by any chance?  Before it was re-extended back to MH, the Sunday 289E's were operated by WB garage.

😉😉 No it wasn't actually as I was on the retail park at oldbury and it said 289 WEST BROMWICH
