Like I said, this was unfortunate but it was a "one-off".

I've been travelling on buses daily for over 30 years and I've never had any journey where there was an incident like this.

4837 on the B&Q island coming downhill, RS recovery were there not so long ago. Didn't look too bad.

Like I said, this was unfortunate but it was a "one-off".

I've been travelling on buses daily for over 30 years and I've never had any journey where there was an incident like this.

The last time I remember something like this happening was when that poor girl got killed on 4816 on the 9 many, many years ago.

The RS tow truck & Van were parked directly behind 4837 when I came past it + bus was in darkness. I thought the back window hadn't even smashed.

It hasn't   heavy near side rear damage and the engine has dropped to just off the floor

That explains why I couldn't see much damage then, I saw offside & rear.
