2 cars I belive lots of damage

The article says 4 parked cars. Significant damage there, you'd imagine that will be off the road for quite some time.

Its just round the corner from the Walsgrave I think. 2 lanes down the hill - 1 used to be a bus lane till the jolly council took it out last year. Wonder if the prang would have happened if the bus lane was still there?

Still nothing in these articles about what 'actually' happened. And by that I mean, yes its clear that a bus hit some cars, but the question is how and why did this happen?

The bus looks very damaged, compared to the cars that got hit.

Birmingham Mail and Coventry Telegraph (both junk Reach Plc websites) are quick to publish photos taken by people who must have presumably seen what happened, but their reporters don't bother to talk to witnesses to try and establish the facts of the story, just lazily wait for vague and simplistic emergency services 'statements'.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

A very fuzzy picture has appeared on Facebook apparently showing 4677 - mostly smoke/steam drifting out from the rear. So seemingly fairly serious.

I've seen worse! and 4677 didn't erupt into flames, although I assume there is still significant damage.

Presume fire damaged buses go straight to the scrappy and not back to the garage?

Not at all. Many are repaired or rebuilt. All depends on severity of damage and the cost of repair versus value of the bus.
