Lucky isn't the word I'd use Winston.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

6744 is currently stood on Bull Street after having one of it's windows hit by a stone town by kids. The window has shattered, but not smashed luckily.

If the promotional blurb and hype by ADL of the MMC, then it should be back in service within the hour!

I doubt it with the damage...It was sat on Bull Street for over an hour, waiting for an engineer to come from Perry Barr to secure it.

Has reliability improved on the WN based ones? They weren't the best for reliability when they were fairly new and regularly appeared in the breakdowns thread but haven't seen too many mentioned for a while. The B5LH certainly seems the more popular hybrid with most operators.

Yes I think the Hybrids have Improved although as mentioned in that thread it was Teething Issues, The reliability has improved because they mostly run on Diesel as NX found The Hybrid Motors too unreilbal

They don't 'mostly run on Diesel' and who says NX has found them too unreliable?

mranon

tony, you don't half see them being dragged in a lot. also, how do they compare on the old diesel against a fully conventional diesel powered bus

Disguting that he'd smoke there and incredibly selfish towards anyone else on the bus that has to put up with him -
