I've heard this one was an arson attack, not mechanical defect (60693?)

Was indeed arson attack, the mechanical defect last Friday morning iirc was Gemini 37031 which was out on a test run.

60693s still alive and well thankfully - 60652 was Sheffield's B10BLE that was withdrawn due to a mechanical related fire.

Went down the A45 about an hour ago, both sides of the road were closed and we were forced to divert through Meriden. Hope it wasn't as serious as it sounds.

It certainly is. Half the time you're taking pot luck. Only place I ever had a more than minor accident whilst driving a bus, also on the 116.

According to a cousin of mine, a Stagecoach Cwmbran vehicle has gone round a roundabout and the Drivers right hand window has slid of into the carriageway!
