15005 is incorrectly tracking on bus times sorry if this is the wrong thread

I'm not a frequent user of Diamond services but yesterday I travelled on 30170 (MX62 GOA, Wright StreetLite DF) and I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the vehicle after nearly 12 years service.

Maybe just having a change up, or could be having vehicle inspections.

40725 is not withdrawn, it is only 'VOR' as per Rotala Official Fleetlist dated 01.12.24.

It is currently away being re-powered & will re-enter service at Tividale.

Redditch 247 towards Redditch. After Alexandra Hospital missing Grafton Close (2000G023901). Then swap Langdon Close and Ombersley Close, then missing Tudor Grange Academy (2000G023999)

IMarkeh, I'm slightly confused by how if the bus is being picked up as stopping at Grafton Close then missing the next three and then picking up Tudor Grange stop and then the same in the opposite direction. As these 4 stops are on Woodrow South which is one road with only two junctions. Forgive me if I have missed something but as someone who was born at the Alexandra Hospital went to high school at Kingsley College (now Tudor Grange Academy Redditch) and every three months attends appointments at the Alexandra hospital for leukaemia a missing out stops on a road that only has two stops on it confuses me and I'm sure would confuse Diamond. Now it could be that the data isn't being recorded properly from the devices in the buses or the program used to gather the data has a glitch.

(sorry mods for putting this here but as someone who lives in Redditch I felt that maybe some local knowledge might help because I'm completely baffled to how this could have happened unless the data map for the route has been updated and hasn't registered a bus passing the stop and not stopping)

@tank90, Basically the issues is not 'the devices in the buses'. Diamond has to go onto their Ticketer portal and add in full details for their services. This data then shows drivers on the ticket machine the correct stops, it sends data to the government so that journey planners (including Google Maps) can use the information, and the traffic commissioner can use the information as part of punctuality and reliability statistics. I do believe that some local authorities use the data too to build up a case for bus priority. Depending on how the next stop announcements/screens are done, it could affect those systems too.

With the issues raised on the 247, if you were to wait at these bus stops, the bus would stop. But most journey planners would never tell you to get on or off the bus there because the data they have, says the bus doesn't stop there.

Will the new routes 552 & 553 be worked from Redditch Depot?
Presumably interworked with the Redditch to Evesham service?

More than likely Redditch will run it.
Redditch already operate the 540 Evesham to Tewkesbury (as a stand alone service/no interworking I as far as I know).

Yes, Redditch will eventually gain 2 extra 66 plate E200MMC's ex Moffat & Williamson to cover the Pvr increase.

There's a rumour on facebook that the 540 may be withdrawn.
