From 20th July 2024 Diamond will commence operating new daily service 66 between Tamworth and Birch Coppice partly replacing Stagecoach services 766/767 which will run between Nuneaton and Dorden only.

It will no doubt be operated from Diamond WM (Tamworth outstation) assume it's a 1 bus Pvr

Someone on another forum claimed that Diamond East Midlands won't be able to bid for the tender for the service 22. The result of this, to me at least, is that Buslink of Drakelow will automatically be awarded the route.

If Buslink are the only or lowest bidders for the route then yes they would get the tender.

Diamond EM is to run the Royal Derby Hospital Car Park shuttle which starts on Monday due to works to create a new multi story car park. Apparently another Mercedes Minibus is due for this service.

Wonder if the mini bus will return to tividale after the car park built

Probably be life expired by the time the car park is finished, you know how this public sector build projects usual span out, years overdue and a curzillion £££££ over budget

I believe it will be a new 74 plate one that has not seen service yet.
