Is anything happening around Portobello in Willenhall, as the 1450 326 into Bilston seems to have jumped to a 10 minute delay around there & the 1540 coming back to Bloxwich is 4 mins late, which isnt too bad for a first day of timetable change?

Roadworks have closed Somerford Place between Portobello Island and Pinson Road towards Willenhall. Traffic is diverted along The Keyway, Bilston Lane, Rose Hill to Willenhall town centre. This would cause this service (during the school run) to be delayed.

Thats interesting, as I saw a 529 parked in Rose Hill yesterday morning, which made me think something had gone on, but walking up towards Lidl, I did see a 326 come its normal route, which, if Ive read correctly, shouldnt have happened!

(I did catch the afternoon 326 from Lion Hotel rather than Wilkes Street instead.)

I travel to Walsall every day and use Willenhall Road and saw the closure last night. Not sure how long it's on for.

Noting was mentioned on NX Twitter but these roadworks might have something to do with them potentially fitting a Bus/Cycle Lane along that section and from Somerford Place to the Portobello Island I saw it on Facebook as 529 drivers say the Existed Bus Lane isn't used due to the Trees scraping the Buses and they use the normal carriageway if it those works there gonna be on for a while

Heads up @Westy 326 might be delayed later by further as the Black Country Route is closed at the Keyway Junction until 3PM due to Emergency Repairs so traffic will be presumably sent back around the Island onto the Keyway to then head down through Willenhall to get to J10, it closed towards J10 The opposite way seems fine, I assume traffic will also get of the Black Country Route at the Keyway and follow the 529 route as far as Bentley to rejoin the Black Country Route there, Either Portobello and Willenhall will be busier due to that to.

Edit - It actually turned up a couple of minutes early!

First time it's done that for years!

However by catching a queue at Lane Head, it barely got into Bloxwich for its 1630 back to Bilston!

20016 currently running about 20 mins late on the 1505 from Bilston.

(Its normally the bus before the one I normally catch, so I shouldnt see it, but I caught it. On the plus side, as per my posts to Simon earlier, the driver did pick me up from Tyler Road!)
