4874 on 336! Seen it in Walsall Bus Station at 12:10. Saw 244 on 336 arriving at 12:05 and stopped at the 69, 70 and 70A stand. I would assume vehicle swaps. 244 go on 70A, 4735 (was on 70A) changed to Not in Service, 4874 changed to 336. Tony can correct my errors.

Edit: 4735 is on 70A. Only had a quick look in the bus station before catching 45 at 16:00.

All day on the 99. I'm sure the passengers would be annoyed with it missing out Wiseley Way. Must be tight down Welsh House Farm Road in addition, but nothing our professional drivers' can't handle.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

4908 on 47E to Belgrave M'way.

I dare say this is a service extra, did you notice it was possibly a driver trainer or traffic officer driving? They do this on a regular basis, when events dictate. As when there be cricket on, or homosexual events etc.

It just changed to Cofton Hackett now. I am on 4328, followed 4908 until there. 4908 just passed me, from what I could see through the watery window, it seemed a normal bus driver, a white short sleeved shirt and a red tie with fluorescent green hi-vis jacket.

White shirt mate, service extra I'm thinking. They wouldn't give 4908 on a Saturday, there's plenty of Tridents in.

Seriously? Any ideas why? This has surprised me! Surely they can't be that short of buses?

Why not use an Enviro if one's available? I'm sure they're more fuel efficient than a Trident (not much is less fuel efficient!)
