@the trainbasher , the load was okay both times I saw it, granted that was at the quieter Merry Hill end, probably suffered on the main Blackheath to Walsall bit.

with only 6 six less probably OK! and was on time arriving and departing Merry Hill, taken off after one trip, now on 34/38/39 replaced by 1764

Taken off service in Bradford Place around 1030, driver blanked the front number blinds and looked as though he was going back to depot or otherwise to park up just before Bradford Place in the layover area prior to going on 34/38/39 as Tony reported. The roller blinds had to use the old M with Metro logo and symbol.
