Sounds as though the 140/241 are seeing an increasing number of double deckers, could be next on the list to permanently double deck once a few more become available and cascade the B7RLE's to replace further Mercs.

5 out of the 6 buses are tridents today they are on there as they have been displaced from the 276 as a short term measure due to the lack of DY council's pruning in the norton area.

4006 just left Birmingham on 126

It managed to get into Brum for a second time. Saw about 15:30 (or round about) at Bearwood going into City then caught it to Wolverhampton from Dudley at 16:40 then it did a 126E to Dudley (Driver said it will then run private back to garage)

Also this afternoon 2008 is on the 27A (Noteworthy imo)

Ashley

If either of these are worth mentioning

4197 - 2130 ish 140 ex Colmore Row

4008 - 2135 27 ex Dudley

Did 4008 come off the 25A/C?

Ashley, 4 out of 5 of the 140/241's were Tridents today. Tridents have temporarily been taken off the 276 and put on the 140/241 (See explanation further up in the thread although you may have read it?)

4008 should do the 22:25 25C ex W'ton then the 23:30 25A ex Bilston to Showell Circus (Bit late for a Spectra to be out!)

Sorry yes 5 ot of 6 :) Cheers :)

Nathan I knew everything you wrote in your initial response to my previous comment. I saw a Spectra on 25A/C this morning so I'll just assume it was 4008.

In other news, 2008 stayed out on WN25/27's (sorry I forgot the garage codes last time not that anybody else remembers either). It did the 2145 27 ex Wolves so should now be back in garage. Hasn't been a piece of plastic on any late 25/27's for a couple of months if my time warping skills are anything to go on. I was hoping for a couple of Mercs but you can't win them all

I take it DY council has been informed and hopefully will sort that asap. Will be some very cramped 276 services at the moment probably!

@s94 as and when they can considering the consistent budgetary and manpower cuts consistent to the financial constraints that the authority has to endure due to the financial status of the economy of the United Kingdom.

@Ashley 4010 was on the 25A/C yesterday also so you may have seen that instead :)
