Brandhall to Smethwick (Cape Hill)., According to the timetable, it is a 7 day a week service, will be interesting to see if Hansons will operate on a Sunday again.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Is it possible to connect at Bilston with a 530 back to Wolves?

Presumbly a bus from the 301 will do the 70.

Wasn't there a staffs cc funded route from codsall through pendeford (and hence past i54) and up towards Penkridge and Stafford? Maybe this is partly to help bridge that gap?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

There was (88) but this is a completely new service, not really a replacement for anything. Expect further i54 services in the future.

Knocked up a quick spreadsheet with the win/loss stats on.

Looks like Diamond have lost a fair few buses worth of work as it sits with what we know...

Surely swings & roundabouts.

There will be one company who tends to lose a lot of routes & another that will gain lots of routes, then you'll get the surprise winners!

Back in the past, NX/Wmt/Twm tended to win a route & I always wondered how before said route was won by another operator.

Pretty sure there was a Walsall route that always seemed to be changing operator but I can't think which one it was.

I'll take a guess,  the old evening & Sunday 319, think Twm, Arriva, Choice & the old Pmt operation all had a go on it at least once!

Out of the main operators past & present,  I think Diamond has never had a regular go on that tendered route!

It's a bit out of their way, to operate the 55. It's a nice little route, only requires one bus

True, I'm just looking at it from a statistical analysis point of view...

Apparently the 20, 21, 22, 53 have all been lost from Arriva!

The 20, 21 & 22 would make ideal additions to Diamond's Sandwell network of routes, I suspect WMSNT has mostly likely won them though

I hope Diamond enjoy their buses getting stuck between parked cars on the 21!

Step back in time then. Pete's / People's Express ran the forerunner of the 21, 489 / 200/1 and certain roads especially around Londonderry were tight especially when the 489 progressed from Varios to Carlyle Darts and then Plaxton Darts and not always MPDs.  The buses on the 200/1 passed in the loop off Manor Lane, Londonderry, pavements often came into play.

I was told WMSNT have won the 22 and will hope to have it go through Dudley.
