The Stagecoach Midlands website now confirms this is the case from the 22nd. There are also some timetable changes to the 41, 46 and 87 at the same time.

I think the new 188 route is much better.
Doesn't double back on itself anymore.

Does it work on other services?  If not it would seem your nBus needs replacing.

Yep works on rugby buses in midlands

Strange. I can only think that the machines on the 188 buses haven't been programmed with the nBus data recorder or whatever it is that allows their use on Rugby based Stagecoach buses.  I presume you've contacted Stagecoach regarding this matter?

Audio next stop announcements on 11227 are so quiet you can barely hear them.

I see there has been discussion on relevant boards this week about the top speeds of NXWM and other electric double deckers.

For the record, giving my experience as a passenger, in January I rode on Stagecoach Midlands E400 EV 80068 from Coventry to Leamington on the X18.

When going along the A46 Kenilworth bypass, which was running clear and has a 70 mph speed limit, the GPS speedometer app on my phone said that we were travelling at a steady 52 mph.
