Steven Knight Media reports that Enviro 400s 19004/80/82/83/84/88 are due to transfer from Manchester to Midlands. I'm thinking they will join the 3 already at Northampton.

More than likely they will go to Stratford.

Cool I was thinking of doing a bash from Tamworth to Redditch on Stagecoach only buses. Looks like I can do it.

I had been route learning the driver, he was "using the services" at the time so I believe that will be a part of an agreement as there is nowhere ele to go.

Do you work for Stagecoach then?

Does anyone know if Stagecoach are operating the rail replacements on the chiltern line that start tomorrow?

Cheese

Scanias 15444/7 and 15676, as well as two Unibus E400s 10037/9 I think doing site shuttles today at Silverstone along with various open top and closed top Routemasters.

Olympian 16873 had survived into the school holidays. I saw it on the X18 last Monday and it was on the 50 again later in the week. The week before it was on the 26. I hope to have a look around for it again this week.
Only Guy Arabs (a choice of 63) stopped at my front door 1957-1964!

16873 was out Saturday apparently.

I wonder what happened to the repainting of 1567*'s... I seen 15670/1/4 today still advertising the 28 and X15 service... When are Stagecoach finally going to remove these ad's for fresh repaint as it is now almost 2 months after the routes were scrapped!

16873 seen leaving Coventry last Saturday.
The destination partially came out on 14th attempt at taking a pic!

You need a much slower shutter speed. On older buses the destinations actually go on and off all the time although it is too fast for the eye to see. It is a problem taking a moving bus as you need quite a high shutter speed to stop the movement. I usually use 1/500 sec and a good half will have no destination showing so I take multiple shots. At rest there shouldn't be a problem with say 1/60 sec. Regards Patrick.

Nowadays I use my mobile phone and don't have a camera.
My images will not be as good as those taken by camera but I can live with that. Thankfully the white destination displays appearing on new buses seem to cure the problem.

In good light - I've generally just used the Auto modes on my digital camera when taking pics of buses, which seems to produce reasonable results. In poorer light/buses at a standstill at night I can dabble with the manual modes.
