Forgive me if there's no point of mentioning these but saw the following in Leamington today:
64:22375
67:10034/35180
68:36950
77:35179
X17:10037
X18:10036

No problem I would say - this isn't called a Noteworthy or Unusual Workings folder!

That said, most of the above are good examples of Leamington depot putting unscheduled types on several routes, which it very often does.

Part of the 67 is interworked with the 65 and 66, so 10034 probably would have got to Banbury or Daventry at some point during the day.

The 64 is operated by Rugby depot, so this is probably why 22375 (allocated to Rugby) was on it.

Yes thought some of the routes inter worked with each other when I looked at timetables the other day. Does the 67 interwork with any other routes like 63/64 as I saw 22841 on there which is a Rugby bus?

Justin Tyme

Yes, the 64 and 67 are interworked, separately from the 65/66 and 67 interworking.

The 63 is self-contained - it operates in a loop at Leamington - in via Willes Road, down the Parade, and out via High Street and Radford Road.

The 63 and 64 are operated by Rugby, and the 65 and 66 by Leamington, so the 67 is operated by both garages.

Anyone know if Stagecoach operate any School/Contract services in Worcestershire - I have seen a Trident and Olympian in Wythall (near May Pole) twice this week around 7:30am, one was parked at Beckett's Farm car park. Maybe a school service into Redditch?

jc

I believe its the 128 service to Alcester Schools, i have followed it up the A435 several times in the past

Is the use of a Solo unusual for the X16? If so,I saw 47652-one of the former Gold examples-on it yesterday at the University of Warwick.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

jc

No the use of Solos on there is quite frequent, always has been since before the former goldlines arrived on the service

22375 is no longer in reserve but now at Rugby seen on the 9th of April on the 63

It was based at Rugby anyway. Plus the Stagecoach definition of reserve is pretty meaningless so its probably still in reserve but in use.

Can't see why 22375 is in reserve when I know for a fact it's in front line use every day.. it's a good bus too..!

As we've both said. Reserve is an overkill word in the Stagey dictionary. (I haven't had the pleasure of it yet, but I do like 18.220 MAN's)
