I think you only missed it by a few minutes. It was about 16:05 in Lichfield Street, going towards Bushbury Hill.

Yes would have missed it by literally 5-10 seconds (So as I went down Broad St then up Fryer St) it would have been going up Lichfield St then Stafford St.

Not sure if this is unusual but 809 on the X64 this afternoon at around 16:40 leaving Selly Oak, Brum bound. Didn't catch it though as it was standing room only; instead got 4328 smelling of new seat fabric. Makes a change from the smoke at times!
