And why change the service number of the 37 to 337? Why do they need a different number (337 and 334), when NX already operate along the same route using the service numbers 37 and 34?

Thandi always seemed to have a decent loading on the 311, at least at peak times, but if they are actually completely withdrawing from the route then I guess they just couldn't compete with the 11.

Good point, the only promotion I ever noticed were the occasional stickers at bus stops near Dudley advertising the cheap short hops into town, but that's something NX were also doing.

But unless you know what to look for online, no one will 'know' about the service!

Why some companies will not bite the bullet & sign up to Network Wm's timetables, I do not know.

Besides Thandi's 311, you have other examples like Diamond's Walsall to Bloxwich services, that are not included on the timetable leaflet issued by NWM, that should be.

(And dont tell me, the frequency is comparable to Nx's, it should be on.)

I think a reason that why see off the 311 would be unreliability. I rode on the Ex-Stagecoach '56' plate Darts from Dudley to Tipton and it was extremely full and the bus has squeezed 3 prams on. Probably why they left the 313. I think they should focus on the 334, they've been running the route for years and been successful considering how many operators have gone into competition with them on it.

Edit - Sorry, Yes they do, just remembered they operate some journeys on the 311 and operate the 335 as Corporate Express, so show as Corporate express on traveline.
