Ashley

I forgot to say 1609 was on the 801 (saturday 12th)

Ash

1557 was on the 13 today, with 1610 and 1568 working on the foleshill services covering for the omnilinks as 1 was on the 16A

Ashley

I thought the omnilinks never left route 20 at all,

They do, it's just not often that they do, or that we hear about it often.

Ash

An omnilink on the 7 today but i havent seen a single gemini in coventry at all on the 13 or any route over last couple of days all there's been are tridents,alx400 and mercs on the 13 and most of them have been repainted and refurbed so they cant have all gone for that.

The 801 is still ran by NXC, as A Line had a problem running it, unsure what exactly. I'm sure someone can fill us in.

Not all of the OmniLink's are branded. 1874-1877 are unbranded.

Yeah, i would like to know what happened with A-Line on the 801. Certainly the reports at the time said that very few if any journeys at all operated on the first day and it didn't get much better over the next few days! Thankfully NXC came to the rescue.

A-Line's planning must have been very poor as presumably they didn't have enough vehicles or drivers to operate it, even though they had plenty of time to get read!

Ashley

I remember the saturday before it changed, 663 was on the 801 and throughout the day, the journeys covered by that bus were up to 20 minutes late.

can the 13 manage with mercs?

as for the gems, theres only 4689, 4692 and 4694 left to be repainted and retrimmed

Ash

The 13 mercs looked busy but no one was standing but i have been in Coventry the last couple of days and havent seen a gemini in service i could just be missing them but i must have seen around 10x13 buses throughtout the two days and only tridents/alx400 and mercs on the service, caught 1655 today newly transferred in from WB

Ashley

1655 is a funny one for me, i travlled on it just before it went from WN to WB , then i got it last month before it moved from WB to CV. has it just had a front repaint

Ash

Yeah all the red now sky blue and the NX Cov logos placed on it just above the door not in the centre of the bus like they are on the NX Coventry livery on the mercs, yeah i was suprised 1655 went to Coventry because 1694 came from BY to WB in return why not just transfer 1694 straight to CV and keep 1655 at WB, also CV seem to be gaining more mercs 1547,1557 and 1655 more recently

Ashley

Thats my next question, they withdrew 1567 then transferred three more i, do they need them because of the service changes
