809 had 'Super-X' displays for the 99 today. I saw it in Harborne, going outbound to Halesowen, when I realised it looked very strange. Then I noticed the scrolling display & immediately thought 'strange to see a Super-X Display at NX' - Has anybody else seen these strange displays on any other route? An example is shown below:

Yep, I noticed one on the 900 yesterday, although it wasn't scrolling

What does Super-X actually mean? Does it mean for best fitting formatting is automatically chosen?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Thanks Vinny, perhaps I should've read the manual myself before posting!

Looks neater then the usual NX formatting, I prithee.

Maybe NX Might switch all the displays to it :)

Please correct me if I'm wrong but no such formatting is available on Flip-Dot?

Nope :-(

Just noticed, on 997's short service, 997E to Deers Leap, the rear only shows a Super-X'd version of only 997, 997E probably would've caused it to scroll

Robert, did you notice it scrolling or is it static?

Couldn't tell LS looked like it was scrolling but not 100% if I see 4897 again I'll have another look but the 900 was in the same style as the super-x display for the 99 :)

Anything like this?

It was static, but not like that. from what I saw, it was on a default setting on the usual size. I'll show some pictures.
