I've got my very own unusual working tomorrow. BC have given me a duty on 70E/56, first time I have driven the 56, not often I get to drive a route for the first time

What time is your duty, Tony?

Approx 1400 - 2000

You didn't strike me as a Late Book On man, Tony? Correct me if I'm wrong but these duties are Garage - Garage are they not? Or is that just the 70 of a Sunday? And then the Coleshill do some minor work on the 14 and 97?

I walked into the garage yesterday to find out where 4612 was and was asked if I could work today.  They were desperate to get rid of this duty because not many drivers know Coleshill. I have 4218 for my 2 visits to Kingshurst and 2 to Coleshill.  Yes garage to garage

Those pictures are surprisingly hard to source on the net. Although, if you know where to look...

That's the closest I've found of BC's 44/46xx buses, just change the grey to TWM standard blue.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

There is a single deck that has just come up ivyhouse lane and turned on to b'ham new road but didn't get to see the fleetnumber or the route, if it was on one, also it was a merc

Isn't the 126 on diversion? I very much doubt they'd put a Merc on there though

They most certainly wouldn't put a merc on any route on a Sunday. And yes the 126 is on diversion

Edit: It was most likley a B7RLE you saw Dom with one being on the 126 tonight

Would anybody count 4698 as an unusual working on the 16? Being the only original E400 left at PB, not forgetting the only Trident, I presume, It doesn't have many days on Handsworth services.

I caught it today (Photo in the PB garage thread). Personally i wouldn't say so as i would have probably posted it but others may say otherwise
