I was told yesterday a bus entered Solihull from the wrong end (poplar road via Warwick road) and had to reverse out!   :o

Yeah one or two drivers have gone on autopilot and forgotten to head straight on - easy mistake to make. Few weeks ago a 957 came down the Warwick Road, and carried out a very sharp right U Turn using one of the roads in the middle of the carriageway to head back towards Lode Lane. Impressive piece of driving by the driver actually not to clip any kerbs.

Yeah I can understand that!
I didn't ask which bus/service it was but was thinking it may have been a 6/49 or 76 as they were on diversion. The driver may have seen 'pick up on station road' and with the phase three starting assumed that way would be open. I am only assuming and could be completely wrong!
