That might explain what looks like a Pulsar in this drone photo of Thurmaston depot I found on Facebook:

EUO was from Derby

Arriva North West 2672 (CX58 EUO) and 2673 (CX58 EUP) were both still working around Runcorn on Friday 20th December 2024. Did they stop off at Derby en route?

North West 2672 CX58 EUO is now Midlands 3767 and working out of Thurmaston (127's on 2nd January)

North West 2673 CX58 EUP is now Midlands 3768 and working out of Hinckley (73's etc on 2nd January)

EDIT: There may be some confusion caused if looking at Bustimes.org. It shows both the new 3767 and 3768 as transferred from Arriva Derby to Arriva Midlands but a closer look shows that what is actually happening is the registrations are also changed, from FJ13FYM and FJ13FYW, which were Arriva Derby's vehicles which transferred to North West a year ago. I think it is because the ticket machine codes are being re-used.

Because they also recycled the fleet numbers. Confusing, huh?

It's hard to believe why on earth they haven't adopted a national fleet numbering system as most major groups.

To avoid all this renumbered fleet on constant changing companies
I read elsewhere they areplanning to  use  Doxford Park Sunderland as legal address for all companies in due course

According to Bustimes not personal observation that 4761 has been back in service since Monday, surprised to see this.

It is 3803 mistracking, I saw it Monday afternoon and have also seen confirmation elsewhere on the internet too! It was taken off the X6 at midday on Monday for some reason, and got swapped with Thurmaston's 3811. Seemingly they didn't bother setting the correct ETM code on either!

Pulsar 3731 is rumoured to be withdrawn soon. Omnicity 3569 was briefly sent to Hinckley depot as its replacement but never saw service and was sent back to Derby in exchange for Pulsar 3729, which after spending most of the day on the 22 in Derby did a round trip on the 158 yesterday evening, according to Bustimes. Not sure what the situation is with 3731 since 3729 is identical in both type and age. Bustimes shows both have been in service today.

Three Max-liveried 58-plate E400s have been transferred into Thurmaston in exchange for three of the 72-plate E400MMCs. More are expected, with 4570-4579 expected to move to Yorkshire.

According to Bustimes, E400 1905 has entered service this morning as... 1905!
