Regretfully It's Phil Upton (rather stick pins in my eyes then have to suffer listening to him all day!)

I'd rather have Julie Berry or Phil Sayer doing the announcements as they're more authoritive and plain and simple to hear.

Thanks! Another question to everybody - what other services would anybody like to see/hear announcements on? Personally, I think announcements would benefit from any trident/gemini vehicle with a screen - or if its a gemini without a screen, it could be fitted with scolling iBus like systems where the current 'stopping' sign is. - similar to London.

I met him once on the Bloxwich Road in Leamore.

He was after directions to the depot. (He'd come too far up !)

(Shame it wasn't Gaunty as I would have sent him the long way round via Beddows Road,  just to hear the bugger moan about the locals bricking his Jagwar on his next show! LOL)

NONE, They get on my tits... in fairness If Julie Berry did the announcements I don't think they'd bother me, they don't on the trains, but the voices chosen so far are just so annoying they make you want to just walk it instead...

The visual ones are more useful, especially when you are travelling after dark in unfamiliar places. NX only seem to do the least they can and don't even have announcements for the 24 on BC hybrids. You get used to the audible ones and l appreciate their benefit for those with poor/no sight.
