I assume they have posted this on the back of an actual order for the vehicles.
(not that the surplus hyphens inspire a lot of confidence).

Really doesn't fill me with con-fidence  ;D

Bakers have a 15 vehicle o-licence allowance at King Lock(!)'s premises at Coventry in todays N&P.

Ive been told from a driver that Kinglong has some "interest" within bakers....
campaigning for better transport for all

mikestone

There's no secret about that - the adding of the Coventry address as an OC  made me wonder if Baker's were going to be providing vehicles for kingcommute

Ex BC driver

Saw a King Long on the M42 yesterday with a paper destination banner

Couldn't resist bouncing this back up the list.

So the start date of 28th April has passed. Is there a commuter service running?

Is the picture on the About Us page really showing their most executive of vehicles? I'm skeptical.

Anyone got any information?

First one of these King Long companies has collapsed today

Rumours of Beverley Bell investigating all of them may be unfounded, but one collapsing doesn't look good

King Long will not be at the NEC  for the bus and coach show next week. They are however offering a hourly shuttle service from the Hilton Metrople to there dealership in Coventry. Awful looking vehicles and poor quality

Hmmmmmm.  Are King Kong another of these "next big thing" bus and coach manufacturers that come and go in a short space of time ??  Taz coaches were a similar player a few years ago. I am sure others came come to mind in time.  ;)

Anyone else noticed who are now operating the JLR contract?

Taken a batch of coaches from the NX reserve fleet for it. Some purchased some hired

All very interesting. Did the commuter service ever get off the ground though? The website hasn't changed since they first began advertising the service.

I thought Silcox were also involved, but Mark Ready is not shown as a director by VOSA.

According to busandcoach.com King Long have denied ever having any role in the purchase/running of Henderson Travel.
