Were you one of the people who had to stand?

20 is less than half of the standing capacity of that bus, if 20 people actually space themselves down the bus instead of all trying to fit in the front 3 meters it helps!

The weird thing is while the notice on the Eclipse 2s states a standing capacity of 52, according to the Wrightbus website maximum standees is 39:
http://www.wrightbus.com/site/default.asp?CATID=30

But I do agree, some people who choose to stand don't help matters when they decide to stand at the front of the bus, in the narrowest part. However the design and location of the grab-rails, compared to say the Omnilinks, doesn't allow for many 'safe spots' for passengers to be able to stand and hold on tight safely.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Passengers on a coach have to be seated and have there seat belt fastened. That is a legal requirement. Why should bus or train passengers having paid to trave be excepted to stand and risk injury if there is an accident ?. Public transport in the uk is a joke. Perhapes lessons from our European neighbours need to be taken.

I would say borderline unusual but being at school I haven't seen daytime buses in Wolves. The 81 I'm sure is mostly merc in the week (With a few B7's on Saturday) so I would class it as noteworthy. The 82 appears to be a mixture of B6's,Mercs,Spectra's,Tridents and the odd B7 every other day so I would say only slightly unusual. Sorry I can't be 100% ontthat but hope I helps Ash :)

Also in reference to the trident on the 32/3, they seem to be sneaking onto there quite a bit during the week :)
