5 WN green machines are having MOT's done this week which could explain it

How frequently do buses require MOTs?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Ashley, where did you get that from. Mots today were not 5 hybrids.

Stu

As they entered service in March/April this year, the WN hybrids wouldn't need an MOT until that time next year.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

That's what I was thinking Stu, I thought it seemed too obvious...

BN

To be honest most hybrids have been done now only 19,20 and 21 left to MOT

Nope, it's happened before, not very common at all though. Do you know when, where and which route? Might see if I can find it on the 129 ::)

Definitely not the first. I've seen it, and recorded it, a couple of months ago... Possibly last spring? It was during the diversions in the City...

But would this be a first for a Saturday? Wasn't the last E200 on the 127/8/9 on a Weekday?
