Enviros on the 49 are unusual I'd say and having lived in the area briefly I would know

WN 1684 - 62A - 1400 - Darlington Street Wolverhampton

1913 also on the 49E, along with 4742 on either 49E or 49, all added to 1413 posted earlier, a good day for spotters on that route!

1652 on the 74
4086 on the 80

1652 was seen on the 48 later in the day. I think it swapped with 4636, which was on the 48 in the morning

I saw 1652 in West Brom around half 9, makes sense to swop the 2. They must have both been in West Brom at the same time to be swopped

I don't know if these count as unusual but

WN 1679 - 59 - seen at WN bus station just after 1030
WN 639 - 32 - WN bus station 1030
PE 4135 - 244 - Dudley Bus Station 2300

1679 on the 59 again! (Was on yesterday) but it must have been taken off as it wasn't on there at 3PM
There is a 473# E400 on WA 89 today

If they are unusual then I have about 4 "unusual" workings from last time (and most times) I've done the 49

To save any arguments, I see the 49 every day, and Enviros WERE unusual, but since the Trident move out, they're pretty usual. B10's and Omnisheds, on the other hand...

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I don't know, I'm starting to appreciate the Omnilinks a bit more now; ok some of the seats near the rear can be a little uncomfortable, but they can be (in the hands of the right driver) quite nippy, the one I caught home this evening must have been running a little late, and as the traffic seemed a bit lighter this evening, managed to pick up a good speed down the Stratford Road (within the limits of course!) and on the Warwick Road into Acocks Green.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I like the Scanias; good looking buses that are relatively comfortable. They're speedy and seem comfortable to drive. Only improvement would be maybe a better interior quality such as Mercedes Citaros as some of the panels as they occasionally creak on corners.

I don't know whether its just the fact that drivers have gotten used to it now, but I don't really seem to encounter this problem anymore, not on AG's Scanias anyway.

I think there was an All Day board of a B7RLE on the 24, both of my sightings were in Harborne, both in each direction (around 8am, towards City - around 4pm towards Woodgate Valley)
