continuing the Boxing Day thing, I saw:
4272 on the 48
2087 on the 297A (which I have to question because on Sundays it is operated by WMSNT so why was NXWM operating it)
4130/ 4329 on the 4M
4806/ 4828 on the X96
2018 on the 25
1774 on the 34

WN Garage were operating normal sunday allocations today and the 25/27 are B7RLE operated on Sundays so far from unusual

Answers your question too Nathan :)

WMSNT don't operate the 297 on Sundays. NX operate it usually with a B7RLE

1774 on the 34 is the main allocation on Sundays and with it being a Sunday Service today this is far from Unusual

I wonder why the 4/M was able to operate fully double decker today but it is usually banned at any other times? (Have they took a different day to/from garage today avoiding the very low bridge next to Bradford Place)

Plus B7RLE's are common on WN25 at any time. 4127/8/30/8/4307/29 have all been on the 4/4M today

This intrigued me as well... Obviously it is possible so why not more often, because I have to say the 4 to me is one route that screams out for deckers
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

it is possible, but after a decker got deroofed a few years ago after finishing service at Bradford place, Deckers were banned from these services.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

according to the 297A timetable for Boxing Day it shouldn't have been running
it should be the 297 between Halesowen and Merry Hill?

Trident 4609

Yes NX operate a 297E to Merry Hill (Sometimes displays 297A as it serves the 297A route to Merry Hill)

On a Sunday Timetable too?

Sh4318

With presidents on the 42/43 and other WB routes, does this mean the 83/89 were completely Gemini/ALX, I only saw 2 of the 4 buses on the 83/89 today, 4519 (the one that I caught) and 4529
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Is 2096 on X96 to Dudley unusual? (Or 2091 to Wollaston farm)

No, sadly the X96 is now fully B7 operated with one or two deckers each day. You hardly ever see a Merc these days.
