Sutton Park diversions

Cardiff-Nottingham and Birmingham-Stansted services are diverted via Sutton Park from 17-21st Feb 2014 while remodelling at Washwood Heath takes place.

Other XC services are via Lichfield with the cross city reduced to 4 trains per hour.

Monday to Friday ..... very interesting! Not sure what the headway on the Sutton Park line is these days, but I would have thought there might be a few conflicts with existing weekday freight movements .......

Presumably into and out of New Street via the Handsworth / Soho line, rather than via Aston?

Birmingham to Stansted generally out via Aston, and the rest via Soho.

Extra signal sections were provided when Walsall PSB was abolished.

Presumably there will need to be some route learning beforehand, unless they are relying on conductors from DBS.
