1824 & 4328 are the latest to have their seats sent to Miller Street

Gosh, BC are certainly getting through their refurbs quick.

Just 4140, 4142, 4152, 4153, 4157, 4160, 4161, 4167, 4170,

4316,

4429, 4432,

4611, 4613, 4615, 4625, 4626, 4627, 4629 left!

The paintshop seem to be turning around the refurbs even quicker than they were before. I assume TWM livery will be well gone before 2014 is out at the current refurb rate / once any new buses start to arriving

I imagine the focus at BC will then be many of the ex LH tridents which were repainted but not actually refurbed inside.

Do you mean the ex LH Tridents from batch 4433-4474? Those that were done during the final couple of months of LH being open

Yep the 03 reg ones that were done, as you say, when LH was still open, towards the end. Some of these are starting to look a bit scrappy now. The thing with the Y reg ones that would make them look a lot better is if they repainted the fiberglass mouldings around the upper deck front window, as some of these look incredibly messy. To be fair, with presidents they repainted far far more of the interior than with the tridents...

All the 03 plate Tridents refurb'd at that time were also re-trimmed in the TWM dark blue moquette, I agree the external paintwork on some of those could now do with being done again. But the TWM liveried examples will take priority before those get re-painted again. Only 4470 has been refurbished as it was done with the full connector bars some years ago

4296 has probably been back ages, you just haven't noticed it....... :P

Guilty as charged Winston :p

I have 197 buses left that are still in TWM / Travel Coventry / toothpaste. 6 of these are ALX200 and 28 are Mercs. I assume these won't get painted again so that leaves 163 to do (plus the few that are left in the NXWM wrap abomination).

Is that 163 with the wraps?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Has 4296 just driven past the end of your nose then? :P

Does anyone keep a log of how many buses the paintshop are generally churning out on average per month?

163 without the wraps.

Nope, didn't see 4296 on my way home tonight

I think there are now only 2 with the wraps, both at Yardley Wood (4363 and 4383)

4259 still has it as well I think? The front is NXWM but it now has an allover ad covering the wrap.

(Must stop talking about wraps; making my hungry)

Yes 4259 is still like that, hopefully it will go off for refurb soon

4259 won't be seen in the wrap livery again, as it was removed (apart from the front) to apply the advert.

4269s was another set of seats to arrive at Miller Street after I posted the other pair

Liberator9

To be fair 4363 and 4383 are fine; they look presentable although in areas it looks slightly scruffy.
