Saw PB Scania 1847 today on route 952 which has been repainted into latest livery and had it's leather seats replaced with traditional seats.

Are the others having the same treatment?

Same happened with 4776 when it was repainted/refurbed- Lost its leather seats for Grey fabric moquette but retained the high back seats

Hope the call for refurb comes shortly for 4199 and 4351, they do really look a disgrace.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

There is not much point refurbing any mercs left as they have 6 months-1year left before they will probably be withdrawn

I doubt you will see anymore Merc repaints Jack, more & more withdrawls are happening now and i would say by this time next year, very few if any will be remaining.

Maybe the new bus orders for 2014 will diosplace some buses for CVs Mercs?

If singles are required surely they would need to be new buses, this would save numerous buses having to pass through the paint shop.

they would probably be new buses. If they are they probably give the Birmingham and black country garages most of them and give Coventry the leftovers knowing NX :-\

Really this could have been posted in the refurbs thread as this topic is being discussed. Maybe this post could be moved to the refurbs thread to save the need of an extra thread?

travelled tonight on a recently "refurbed" wn trident. while buses are in workshop for refurbs etc, wouldnt it be an ideal opportunity to fix things such as saloon heating?
