Presumably all remaining TWM-livery Mercs will be imminently withdrawn when the Trident & B7RLE cascades arrive, so rather than repainting them, the NXWM-livery Mercs in the worst exterior condition are receiving attention instead

1642 has the grey dot seats so not surprised it's getting a repaint, I expect it to be one of the last Mercs standing

It hasn't, it was one of the earlier Merc refubs and has the darker blue moquette (see video clip below)
