Is amazing, all the hybrids are now out and yet PL can`t get a full turn out on the 1?

No the 1 has had a full hybrid contigent, couple of days last week if I remember that was the case anyway

They are fitting the Next Stop Announcements onto the Hybrids so Some will probably be in the garage and thats the reason why the 1 and 59 are getting less hybrids this week

The announcements on ours in Wolves are typical black country. The ones on the 222 are dull and the BC hybrids can wear thin in the ears after a while

I thought the BC hybrids' announcements were annoying until the woman on the 1 came along. Definitely prefer the 222's and the BC's next-stop announcements

I still haven't managed to get on a talking hybrid at WN or PE E200. Are they as annoying as BC's hybrid Next Stop Announcements

I've done maybe 5 journeys on centrals hybrids and one journey on the 222 and so far have only been on one vehicle where the annocements have actually worked. plus it was that quiet I couldn't make out what was being said anyway. and with diamond I must be well over a hundred journeys on there hybrids on various routes (s2,s3,16,56,82,301,404E) and never herd a next stop announcement or seen the screens working showing next stop. Whats the poing to investing in this new system if its not going to be up and running!!!

The 222 has only just had it installed and 823 doesn't do it as far as I am aware. Also, the BC Hybrids only talk on the 22/23, not the 24

I must say too that the refurb standard of the alx400 is brilliant! They look really smart all shinny on the outside and the new seats look great. Buses should be treated to this every 5 years I think because it gives them a new life almost and the alx400 look almost new!

If it wasn't for some of the selfish idiots that use the buses, feet on seats, rubbish chucked on the floor, dribble on the seats fag ends stubbed on seats, ripped up tickets & scratchcards, food debri, half full cans of drink left on the floor/seats and lets not forget burnt seats graffiti & window etching....I could go on...then the buses would not need doing half as regular as they do!!

Perhaps not a refurb, but 4111 was on the 73 today having had a repaint. I think it was the last one with the1 branding.

4111 was the last branded for the1, that leaves only 4044 and 4054 to be painted out of the reminants of their toothpaste 451 livery

It's spent the last two days out on the 1, and yes it was the last bus at Acocks Green in 'old' branding, now they have a 100% NX livery fleet.  8)
