Sure i saw Gemini 4506 today in West Brom freshly repainted?

It looks like every garage except Bordesley has buses in for refurb/repaint at the moment

AG - 4112 & 4644
BC - 4428 & 4633
YW - 4372
PB - 4302 & 4479
WB - 4504
WA - 4764
WN - 45xx trident I cannot remember which one it is
PE - 1629
CV - 4204

There are probably at least two more as there are normally two at PB, and I only know of 4112 and one at YW.
1767 has just been completed, photo appearing soon.

Tony, I'm assuming the PE Merc refurb is 1627 (typo), as 1629 has been done & is back in service at Pensnett

Looking at the photo of 4428, its having a lot done.

Also, you'd think that 1627 would be one of the last Merc refurbs

If 4504 is getting a refurb, can they do something with the cooling fan noise

Has the capacity of the paintshop increased? It's just the number of repaints appears to have increased of late and the latest repaints in cargo white & red are far superior in terms of quality

4141 looks great, however the trident next to it could do with a fresh paintjob, even though it was only done 2 years back

No, it is just a lot more of the prep work is being done at garages now, so many arrive only needing painting now, not a complete set of replacement panels first.
4372, the one the skip lorry wrecked the complete offside in January at Shirley Station is another currently in paint at Walsall that was repaired at Carlyle. Walsall garage have finished 4204 now so that should be out very soon as well

It's been back a while, spotted it the other weekend going past my house. Had a good view inside as was queuing in traffic while on the 1, nice paint job and looks smart with the new seat trim, almost looks brand new!

Did however spot 4644 today on a 37E journey looking freshly repainted, couldn't see if it had been retrimmed though.

Yesterday I also noticed one of the Outer Circle Geminis (also on the 37!) while still branded and in the old livery, had definitely had new windows, as there were no etching marks (can't remember the fleet number though!).
