The failings of Diamond to average Joe. The 1235 287 from stourbridge arrives 7 late, halfway through the journey the Engine mgt light comes on, driver advised to continue despite this; bus now crawling the streets at near walking pace.

20104 on 251 due at Amblecote Rd at 1325 arrives 1321 . Driver doesnt wait time at any stage until Merry Hill where we arrive 13.26

The bus being 7 minutes late to me wasnt that big a deal, the bigger concern was a driver being told to continue despite the engine mgt warning. In my opinion that is risking further damage to the bus ( is that why diamind have so many breakdowns?) .

The second issue - is there any excuse to run 4 mins early, this when Diamond ticket machines even say that the bus is early?

@Tony I know that a Nx route wouldnt have either of the above happen as drivers are better drilled. I had a complaint against Nx recently where the first service of the day was 2 mins early from a timing point and received an apology and freebie within 14 days

We've recently had the 'oil slick bus' making a name for itself in Bewdley. Today it has been the 'screaming bus' on the 3 route which has proved popular with locals seeing as it was on very early services this morning. One of the BLU darts. You can hear it coming a mile off!

One of the BLU Darts is in bits in the yard, the 52 reg one. The yard in general looks like a scrapyard, all the buses there were heavily stripped.
