This is probably a silly question but as someone whos never been to PE in his life, is 1420 visible from outside the garage anywhere, any fences or anything? Would love a last pic before she goes for good.

No, I'm pretty sure I know where 1420 is parked. It would be visible through a fence had they not parked another row of NXC Mercs infront of it

292, 517, 530, 541, 1581, 1595 and 4075 have all left Miller Street to PVS in the last few days.

9697 the old 8 seat Ford Transit has also gone for scrap.

The Five last remaining Excels are not in the current batch of disposals but will be leaving soon. Anyone want to preserve one? or is this one of the types of buses from the WMT/NXWM fleet that are going to disappear forever.

Compared to some of the buses that have been sold for preservation they will not be that expensive if previous prices for Excels are anything to go by, so if there is anyone out there who wants to end up with a unique preserved bus instead of one of the crowd they need to make themselves known to NXWM in the near future!

The depot has been sold to a fabric recycling company, the depot has been emptied of reserve fleet vehicles, but a number are still parked outside in the yard. Not sure if this is short term/long term arrangement?

Forgot to say, the Mercs that had been pulled out & parked in the staff car parking area marked up for 'PVS' had all gone by Thursday last week.

No, you still can't see it from the fence. It has approx 4 rows of buses in front it
