Had an ex-NXWM President pass me while walking down Sedgley Road towards the Pie Factory today, had been painted white but still had the connector bars at the rear, does anyone have any idea which one that would've been?

I've seen that pathetic attempt of a repaint too. It's been like that for a while. I saw it at least a month ago. The red bit has been painted white. The rest is untouched.

Only 3 x Presidents left in PN reserve fleet yard now: 4031/4066/68 + a few Tridents + 1 x Optare Excel

Merc 1647 & B10L 1427 have both been moved to far side/centre respectively, suggesting they may be ready to depart soon as well.

That's what I guessed, but I didn't want to assume things. At least that one had the red removed, 4112 (Now Green Bus 312) was running round with the red and white livery still, at least until last month.

There were the 3 I quoted parked at the bottom of the yard, unfortunately, I couldn't see through the lorry which was being loaded by the entrance gate to the NX staff car park me old pal. It was blocking the view of what was parked up the side fence other than the Excel

The lone B10 is 1427. I wonder whether if it will go to scrap, I remember there was rumours about 1427 going into the training fleet early last year, though plans have probably changed, 1427 hasn't seen service for about 5 years!

Hopefully the don't let 4044 have this dreadful repaint, it's paint sill looks fresh, was the last President in toothpaste, and former 451 branded. 4044 had the smart 451 branding. 4044, 4051 and 4114 were the best Presidents at WB.

the three at the bottom have had nearly all the windows smashed hence security fencing has been put all around

Sorry Boss, couldn't fully see the line up the side where the Excel  / Mercs are/were. The deckers there were all Tridents previously

So what's happening to 1589? It seems to of moved out of Pensnett to Walsall. Maybe conversion to a trainer? 1589 was a beast at WB.

According to a couple of comments on a Facebook group, it's apparently being converted into a driver trainer.
