saw 4596 doing a 126E from Birmingham going to Dudley at 14:20 on Hagley Road
is that timetabled?

also it was followed by another 126 going to Wolverhampton so maybe it was just running late

Just got to Dudley from Birmingham.

You sure it was coming from Birmingham, i.e. up Castle Hill rather than down it, with the entrance to the bus station closed?

The only timetabled 126's are the ones timetabled from W'ton to Dudley. :) I have seen a few turned at Five ways but its still a working I don't see on a regular basis :)

Birmingham city centre was (and may still be) gridlocked earlier, so there were probably lots of untimetabled E workings.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I can assure you, it still is! It took my 22 45 minutes to get from Five Ways to Paradise Circus and back to Five Ways.

M6 was shut between 6&7  traffic was being diverted up the aston expressway and down the a34 walsall road to re join the motorway so suspect their was carnage.
