Here is a photo of 6598 in Scotland in 2008.

Does anybody know if it's still there??

The location is actually John O'Groats.  It was there in July 2010 - I had a bit of a shock when I turned a corner near the top end of Scotland and suddenly saw a WMPTE Fleetline!  Parked or dumped next to it was another West Midlands area vehicle - Bedford/Duple coach MAB 156X, which I think may have been new to Whittles.

I don't know if either of them are still there.

I enjoy looking at photos like that.

To think that bus was brand new once, all that life and then to be dumped in the Northernest of Scotland.

Could be on farmland where its been dumped and converted into a free-travel-range chicken coop?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
