And strangely I came into Dudley on it as a 241 and then about 10 minutes later it left still as a 241 back to Halesowen, I didn't think a board stayed as a 241, this was about half 4

Presumably at about this time there is an extra peak 140 working about to head towards Birmingham.

When I saw 4196 it was following a B7 on the 140, about the same time Matt says he was on it. Maybe that b7 was the peak 140 as aren't the 140 and 241 supposed to be 15mins apart?

Not the journey I was thinking then, must do a full 33 then run dead to the garage, have seen a few 33E's run from town recently thought thought that may have been it

Those you have seen may have been peak time buses running late, so the journey has been cut short to Perry Barr, to keep the service regular from Birmingham

Unless its an extra that dosent appear on the timetable. I've seen B7's before at that time on the 33E but not for a while now

Yes it was right behind, the 241 and 140 are every 15 minutes leaving Dudley but tend to be far closer together on the way in, especially as the 241 driver was really giving it the beans, think he wanted a longer layover!

Don't know if this counts as an unusual working; this morning there was a crash near Yardley Wood on Robin Hood Lane blocking off the 76 route at around 7:30 onwards. My 76E ,4352, and the 7:36 76 behind us had to turn round and then headed up the stratford road to the south B'ham college. Then it headed on the 11 route and then on the 2 route down to near Yardley Wood and rejoined the 76 route. Quite unusual with a Trident going along the 11 route; plus further news is that the 76 in front of ours, the 7:18 from Solihull decided to follow a different diversion around the crash; unfortunately it hit a tree branch and cracked the upper deck front window.... although it continued on to the Q.E, although I dare say it will not be in service tomorrow!

677 on the 301 again, twice in a week
4681 on the 29
244 on the 70A (I guess this might happen often although I know 244 has been off the road.)

It was due to a fire engine attending a call out that crashed in to a tree

809 - 29
4017 - 1
4196 - 241

4196 again, whenever a Trident gets onto the 241, it always seems to be that one!

Yeah, due to the increased time the 140 takes to get to/from Birmingham at peaks, one or two 140 boards stay on as 140s and that 241 stays as a 241 (16:05 from Halesowen and 17:00 from Halesowen)

I have just remembered I did see B7 2096 on that board this morning, so if 4196 is on that board it would've been a changeover
