Well at least it can confirm Tridents on the 11 if two different tridents have been sighted

Same here Matt! Just caught up on the topic and i can't see why there was so much dispute over a sighting.

I tried putting up 11E on my break last night on 4611, and it came up as 'bad route' ie - blank

Though I remember back in 2010 about a month before LH closed and some BC buses had already had the new LH routes programmed into the destination, but others hadnt. So its not impossible....

However, I dont know what rotas at BC would do part of the 11, Im guessing maybe the Harborne rota (22 and 23), but I havnt seen any notices in the garage regarding route learning for the 11.

I have just checked what routes were put into 4144s ticket machine yesterday and it is showing that it was on the 47, 61, 63 & 666X whatever the 666X is

OH25

4824 on the 120
2085 on the 141 both around 10:30
4200 on the 9 about 10:40
1736 on the 934 about 11:15

Strange, nothing else I can say to prove it but this time I am confident that 4144 definitely was on the 11E as I did looked at the reg plate and fleetnumber numerous time.

There's your answer then Tony, 666X is the code for the 11

I have seen this sort of thing before, I once bought a Stagecoach North West day ticket on route 78, on the ticket it says the route is 699A

666X is an open ended value with 3 x fare stages 1 is outer terminus 2 is stage 2 and 3 is outer terminus you can print all tickets on it. It is also on every wayfarer at every garage.

Kevin

Very unusual working, and route branded bus off route etc....
Just saw a 33 branded Enviro on the Cap Gemini shuttle, was on the 65 coming up to Aston Cross when it pulled out of Avenue Road, too far away to get a fleetnumber
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

That should be the one that does the 20:15/23:15 from Halesowen

Yes I also saw 4187 this morning on the 11E Clockwise to Erdington. Most bizarrely of all I've just looked on the NWM timetable to try and see what working it is, and it appears to be an extra working. I saw it at Pineapple Bridge at 9:44 this morning yet nothing on the timetable matches that even allowing for it being late, Could be a timetable error I guess or perhaps something else...

I know it is a blurry rubbish picture but given the circumstances I'm hoping that won't matter :P

This whole 11 thing seems really strange! Apart from the fact it's BC on the 11, the three workings have all been of different 'E' variations!

Liverpool Street

I also saw 4187 on the 11E.

Its the Acocks Green staff drivers duty. They come to BC and take a trident or two and do a short working on the 11. Why they take a bus from BC is due to Allocation issues apparently but I think its something else.

It was a new thing as of this Monday.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
