Just wondering if anyone knows any school services operated by nxwm.
i'll start  701/703    st thomas more (my school)

Haven't updated my list in a while, so some might have changed, but...

701   Walsall   St Thomas More School   WA
703   Walsall   St Thomas More School   WA

The 702 & 703 were merged last June. The 701 is operated by WA, the AM board then goes on to do one round trip on the 301 before returning to depot, whilst the PM board then goes on to the X51.

The 703 is operated by WB. Both buses then go on to operate the 74/75.
do you go to st thomas more or summet cause you know alot about the route

The 703 is operated by WB not WA, and goes New Invention - St Thomas More School via Ashmore Park

As I said, I haven't updated my own personal list of NX routes, and I know there have been changes to some school services since I last checked. I can update it now NXWM have updated the routes on their website, but if anyone can help with corrections to garages that operate these routes that would be very welcome.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I thought BC operated on the 829 in the afternoon as well, but with the buses also doing X64's rather than 9's?

997E runs to the Pheasey, Collingwood Drive to cover the Great Barr/College kids, all other 997E's terminate at Dears Leap Pub  :)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Oh of course, I had wondered why you didn't get Presidents on the 703, the fact that it goes on to the 74/75 later on explains that :)

Domino99, Do you mean a B7TL Gemini and not a B5. Two reasons you won't get a B5 on your school routes is

The 703 is operated By WB meaning you won't get a B5 (B5 is the green hybrid if you didn't know)

Seems to be know one else from yw on here so here goes, the 76E to Camp Hill according to the running board is meant drop off at the 11/35 stop on Vicarage Road then run dead back to the garage (used to say via Colmore Road, Howard Road, Haunch Lane, Yardley Wood Road) it used to and I haven't done it for a while so this may have changed layover in the garage for around 20 mins then do a 2 from Warstock to Town then dead back to the garage. There is a specific '76E King Edwards Camp Hill' blind but a lot of drivers seem to just put '76E Kings Heath'.

The only completely seperate school service here is the 863 (Light Hall School - Yardley Wood) should be two buses in tandem in the morning and back in the afternoon.

Apart from that there are a couple of other school workings of other routes.

18A - For King Edwards Five Ways starts from the island at the junction of Field Lane/Scotland Road in Bartley Green just down from the school then runs as a normal 18.
27E - One afternoon working from Kings Heath Boys School on Hollybank Road to Kings Heath (terminates last stop on Addison Road) (comes off the 2/3 so the only opportunity to see a decker on part of the 27)

Two buses in the afternoon which start from Alderbrook School on Blossomfield Road, they actually pick up from the school forecourt:-
6E to Robin Hood Island
49E to Maypole

The 827 was withdrawn last year and basically did the 27 route from Dame Elizabeth to Kings Heath although when I was a kid at Bournville School I seemed to remember it started at Bournville in the past and there was an am working the other way.

There used to be a 28E to Short Heath from Great Barr school, and would usually have a decker on it. No idea if it still runs. There also used to be a 997E from Asda Queslett to Perry Barr ran by Perry Barr before the 997 changed
