Yes it is on, strangely enough there are posters advertising it on buses all around the Black Country!

That's all well & good for those of us that spend all day traveling around on buses  :P

There is also a poster in the front window of the Birmingham Travel Shop

I am planning to go if I am not working on that Saturday

Dont suppose anybody knows what "preserved vehicles" will be on show/in use?

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Can't imagine it will be anything other than 3225, NXWM need to get there use out of it and as YW are open, but not sure what if anything AG will have

Don't recall seeing any on the Walsall vehicles on the Bloxwich & Dudley routes,  only the one about the 301 diversion.

At the last two events (2008 anniversaries at both depots, and the Metrobus farewell), they had a few preserved Metrobuses there along with other privately preserved/owned vehicles.

I'm looking forward to going to YW. Last time I was there I got chucked out. They'd just withdrawn the first of the 1950-1951 CVD6s to go, 2095. Harold Wilson was PM and the Beatles hadn't yet got long hair.

Prepared to be surprised!

Over 20 preserved vehicles should be there including fleetlines, Metrobuses, National, Lynx.

Both Timesavers that were at Showbus, 2912 & 2957 are amongst the expected vehicles.

I have a private hire to drive in 3225 on Tuesday, but it looks like that may be on static display at YW and other older vehicles used on the inter-garage shuttle
