Why did the trident doing the 27A today display just 27 without the A on the rear of the bus?

Usually the A never fits on the destination at the back so just displays 27 . Same happens with the 25A too when a trident appears

It's not to do with 27A not fitting on the back as it's just the same size as 255 etc

It's the same with the 49E, the backs on Tridents usually just say 49, but the Presidents do say 49E, strange.

From memory I think the 3E to Robin Hood Island (but NOT Slade Lane) just has 3 on the back too although that might have changed without me knowing recently.

It would fit if it was programmed properly with a sensible sized font (Not one of the ones that stretches 2 digits across the whole matrix), it just hasn't been programmed in for some reason or other.

And the same with the 23A, it just shows 23 on the back. Mind you it serves all the same stops as the 23, just takes a detour via KE Five Ways school and Kitwell to get to Woodgate so doesn't really matter I suppose.
