I've noticed the big bus maps on moor street stop MS4 and MS3 have a map that's from 2016, a bit misleading as it still shows the 31, 37 etc. TFWM bothered to change this?

A bunch of bus stops in the Handsworth area were replaced around a month or two ago and have since been replaced again and use the LL Circular typeface (the typeface TfWM uses for most text and also the font used on the branding for the 16, 40, 31/32, X10, 82/87, 8/X8 9, 50, 6, etc) on the route numbers, similar to CN1 on Water Street in Hockley. This typeface, according to TfWM's brand guidelines is supposed to be on every bus stop like, just like CN1, but isn't for some reason and use DM Sans. is there an effort being made to rectify that or something? because I can't understand why these stops in Handsworth were changed a month ago, to be changed again this week with a different typeface to the rest of the west midlands.

the stops in question are:
Church Lane, Handsworth Wood Rd, toward Perry Barr (Served by 11C, 54 and 61)
College Road, University Campus, Both Directions (Served by 54, 54A and 61A)
Oxhill Road, Friary Gardens, toward Handsworth (Served by 61, 61A and 101)

there might be more, I just haven't seen them.

No sign of flags being changed at Acocks green yet

I have no idea when they did this but the electronic Arrival Board telling you what time the buses were due in Darlaston has been removed, I might be wrong but I think there used to be Orange LED Displays programmed below the Adboard on one of the lamp posts that I think I once saw 79 West Bromwich 5 Mins, not sure how that was seen as useful. The Arrival Board did suffer ASB, but not sure when it was removed

I noticed on my usual bus stop today that alternating between the scheduled departure time on the electronic display was the word 'CAN'. Are cancelled services now showing? Whilst not helpful a bus not turning up, it does I suppose show that it's cancelled and not just not tracking or late or early.
I'm guessing it must mean cancelled as the service it was showing for didn't show up.

I think so. I did notice when I was in Solihull last night the RTI board on the corner was showing cancelled (in red) for one of the services on there.

There was a similar one in Stourbridge by the ramp taking you from the High Street to the Interchange. It was switched off last year and is simply now covered over by an advert for TfWM.

Towards Sedgeley / Dudley?

It's a proverbial 'data error'.

Looking on Google Maps, that stop first appears around 2012, it was used by the 1 and 535, the 1 certainly goes to Sedgley.

Originally named 'Pipers Row' back then, but still stand 'AH'.

Presumably the stop was then later renamed 'Fryer Street' after being out of use for several years, but no-one updated the 'towards' entry in the stop database.

Same as how the Frederick Road stop on Court Road in Sparkhill still to this day shows 'towards Yardley Wood', even though the 5 doesn't go to Yardley Wood, a throwback to when the 2 to Maypole used to go that way.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

There's probably a few like this dotted around the WM, but how come you have at Wilkes Street, Willenhall, 'Towards Bilston' then underneath it says '23 23A 25 57 326'.

Now out of those services, only 2 from that stop actually go to Bilston, the 25 & 57, while the 326 goes to Bloxwich & the 23 & 23a, basically that is the unofficial unload stop, but the timetable poster still has a timetable detailing the times to the actual next stop, which is New Road, basically a 30 second journey!

I've also had people asking me about the 326 going to Bloxwich from that stop.

'Yes it does', I reply, pointing at the timetable case, which is correct.

'But it says Bilston on the stop sign?'

'Trust me, it's definetly to Bloxwich from here!'

I suppose it says towards Bilston, as most buses go to Bilston from that stop, but if you didn't know the area, then you would be confused.

The stop at New Invention does it right, by listing each service & it's ultimate destination, so I would list Wilkes Street as saying '25 Bilston, 57 Bilston 326 Bloxwich 23 & 23a Unload only' instead.

the new 23 and 23A also have via "Bilston Station" on their destination blinds too

Great in Darlaston on Wednesday no RTI Display working and they have removed the main RTI Display so you had no idea what time the bus was due, unless you checked the timetable, which I did but having already seen a 37 to Willenhall go past which I thought was early I had an idea I would be waiting 30 minutes, in fact I was only waiting a few minutes as the actual scheduled 37 at that time was on time
