I am not sure I know which routes these are?  Can you be more specific.

Hi Simon with the 215 poised to extend to Blackheath "new direct links" do you know if this link is gonna be Throne Road?

I am advised the following

"Throne Road itself wont be served. The 215 will do the current route but will be extended to Blackheath via Dudley Rd, Hawes Lane, Birmingham Rd. The 14 currently serves Portway Rd which is adjacent to Throne Road however, which still provides connections into Dudley and Blackheath."

Can I ask when will the Enviro200MMCs be removed from the 356, especially on evening and Sundays when the routes tend to be a lot quieter they are using constant Enviro200s, also due to this the bus is having to be diverted in Greenfield. 

I now have other concerns regarding when these buses are used on 356.

First off, Sunfield Lane in Diggle at the bottom they are scraping the floor as non of the drivers are using the ferry lift and it's making a really unpleasant sound when turning on this road.

Secondly, they are struggling to get through Dobcross Square with the cars parked either side and especially on Sunday when the church is in they are struggling for time.

Can I also ask but why they are swapping out the Mellor strata's at evenings for Enviro200s, the 356 route should be dedicated Mellor stratas only due to the nature of the route and the enviros shouldn't be allowed on it.

Our intention is to operate Mellors on this route.  Since starting Tranche 3 - we have been short.  We ordered 2 new which are due during July, and we are due an update on the Mellors that are supposed to be transferring from another operator.

The Mellors we have ordered have larger fuel tanks.  We also intend to retrofit the ones we have, so they can operate all day into the evening. However, with the shortage of appropriate sized vehicles we are struggling to release the vehicles to organise the retrofits.

114, Preston Bus, Chorley – Clayton Brook – Leyland – Penwortham – Preston, Preston bus to run evenings Mon-sat and Sundays & Bank holiday 
347, Chorley – Eccleston – Croston – Mawdesley – Banks – Southport, Preston bus to run the sunday service

The routes are contracted for Small E200's/ Solo's.  Initially we are able to use the current Mellors, shortly after commencement we have 7 E200's, which will replace them.
