I think my highest is 10, I'd like to beat that though  8)

Matg had already done 12 buses by 12pm today!  ;) Wonder if will beat his record of 26?

Probably not. I'm unlikely to board a bus on a Round Trip unless it's a Trident  ;), hence my last Round Trip
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Well he had aleeady done over 20 buses by this afternoon and i think he has gone back out so looks as if he will break his record of 26 buses

Hope to do as many buses tomorrow and Tuesday before i'm back to School (Yr10) on Wednesday

I ended up on 26 equalling my record! Could easily beat that though if it wasn't for sitting around doing nothing for too long and one or two long bus rides (full 79 and Bearwood - Wolves on 126 included)

Matt, probably some potentially obvious advice but to boost your haulage numbers for a specific day, look at the timetables, see where the buses pass each other or if its a very frequent service such as your 9 then hop on hop off few stops at a time

Lukeee

Just keep catching the 50 for one or two stops all day

To be honest I think of that as cheating ;) I prefer to have a proper ride on a bus not just a few stops

Yeah I'm with you on that, for me its part of the geeky appeal to get as many different routes as possible
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Yesterday got my record up to 47 buses (starting and ending on a Dart, albeit differing routes and companies!) covering a couple of unusual workings on the 50 (one NX and one Diamond!)

What was the unusual diamond working on the 50 as I didnt know there was such a thing-the 50/16 can get MPDs/alx200s/solos/full length darts/centros and probably other types I've missed out.

Sundays are good days for diamond on the 50 as theres no greenbus so they seem to do really well then and the buses are better as signature ones are often on there. Are these SRs in good condition as havent been on one in a while? Are they clean/damaged/bits of interior rattling etc or are they ok? Thanks for posting the photo link :)

That was on there yesterday whilst I was out getting my 47 buses (and yes I did bash it!)

Not really that unusual Trainbasher. That happens on a regular basis (Tridents on the 50 and E400's on the 6)
