I'd have thought that they are contracts and have potentially been lost, Diamond did cross my mind.

Wonder if First might have a go at the 350?

mikestone

Are they just 56-day cancellation of expiring tenders?

PM

Probably just a change of license so they'll be registered under a different

Maybe it's because they have merged the 150/350 into 1 route but they are registered separately as there is a driver change at Redditch similar to the Stagecoach X18 which is registered in 2 parts (Coventry-Stratford and Stratford-Evesham). I'm guessing it will be only some journeys that carry on to Worcester but they may be planning more journeys than before to Worcester

if so why didn't they take on the services at the time they brought whittles I instead of letting diamond run the services
Because all the Whittle bus services work had started being retendered by EYMS just before they put Whittle up for sale if I remember correctly.

144 takes 1hr 45 mins so significantly less than 2hr 17. To be honest, very few people catch the 144 direct from Worcester to brum so I doubt many would catch this either. It is immediate stops where you get the trade. Really who is going to want to sit on a bus for that long when you could catch a train and be there in 45 mins?
