Anyone know what happened  with the 12.30  87 service from
solihull as it went to the station  & didn't return

A&M Flexibus currently run the 520 service between Stratford-upon-Avon and Baddesley Clinton (near the Solihull boundary) on Tuesdays & Fridays.
If Johnsons are willing to run an enhanced service extended to offer a useful destination in either direction then I shall wish them the best of luck, can't see it being any more than two or three return journeys a day.

WarksCC now confirms this new service, numbered S20 (not 520) and complements the X20 via Henley-in-Arden, so obviously not going to replace A&M's 520 service.

Wonder as they as johnsons are getting new buses for the X20 will they be using 1 of the deckers from the x20 or some thing else

It looks like the S20 will have to go under Dorridge Station bridge, so it will have to be single deck.

This wil be a useful route for me  ;D

Could be the case that the X20 Deckers move onto the 150 perhaps, and then the Scanias work some of the other single deck routes? This S20 will only need 1 bus during the daytime looking at the timetable; easily use a Scania on it.

Apparently the Olympus's will be sold when the new MMCs are in service. Unsure how true that information is, not sure the X50 is a service that could really fill a decker

That's true regarding the 150/X50 - I couldn't exactly see it sustaining a double deck load either. I assume a Scania or Tempo would be used on the S20 - unless they'll start with a Solo and see how it goes?

Used to regularly fill a decker when ampm ran it.
Thursday duty 2 had to have a decker or would leave people standing.
It does look like passenger numbers have fallen since then though

The 9:30 journey from Wythall could fill a decker on some mornings, other than that it does seem a bit quiet.

Scania on the X20 again today - there was yesterday as well - seems to be 1 spare off the 150 etc. at the moment - would be logical if a Scania works the S20 - as it's two hourly would be a ideal size.
