One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Not a clue but I'd expect its employees daughters names or whatever. Nothing to do with the drivers I don't think anyway (as usual)

They are all daughters and grand daughters of employees names, including some drivers, I believe their are some more batches to be done, possibly including the BC Enviro 200s

Oh I see, I was under the impression the drivers had no involvement. (Shows what listening to tickle tackle gets you)

Stuharris 6360

Any chance of them naming one after Tony?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

windy miller

Tony Hancock maybe :).. I always thought of him as a brummie?.. there must be many notable 'brummies'.... the 200 fleet at WN have a good selection why not BC? ???

Anyone aware of how many new 'sutton lines' enviros are due to be allocated to PB? :-\
also maybe a list of new names?       thanks guys.

John

It looks like all 26 are to be allocated to Perry Barr. Some of the un-branded Sutton Lines Enviro400s look like to be branded up for £12 bus passes prices

Names that are known yet are -

4914 - Keya
4915 - Keyanna
4916 - Sharleene
4917 - Laura Emily
4918 - Tianan
4919 - Sheniyah
4920
4921 - Vandana
4922 - Amy
4923 - Leah Patsie
4924
4925
4926
4927
4928 - Georgia ? (Looking at pic above)

All of these, apart from 4920 and 4924 onwards, are now in service. More might be due today to enter service as well

I'd assume the prices will be frozen this January then, it seems silly branding it for 2 months knowing it'll need changing.

I wouldn't bank of that, you could find that issue hasn't even been thought about......

First thing that I thought of when I saw it, If it has been forgotten I'd be amazed!
